Here are some celery leaves that I regrew by placing the base of the celery (after using the stalks) in some water - ones in an old glass jar, and one in a glass that used to hold a candle. Just change the water every few days and keep in a sunny place and you’ll soon have a lil tree like this! I usually freeze the leaves and use in salads or tomato sauces 😋 . . As well as celery I’ve also been trying spring onions, leeks (my fave to regrow) and lettuce (a bit hit and miss!) 🙈 . . Tis’ the season for roasted butternut squash. 🍁🌱Tomorrow marks the first day of fall and I can’t tell you how much I’ve been cooking with squash, pumpkin, and lentils. This is thee easiest way to cook butternut squash and sooo delicious. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cut butternut squash in half the long way. Use a peeler and peel the outside of butternut squash. Wash. Cut in cubes. Drizzle olive oil, 3 cloves of minced garlic, salt, pepper, and chop fresh sage and mix all together. Ingredientes . . - 2 colheres de sopa de farinha integral - 2 colheres de sopa cheias de aveia - 1 colher de sopa cheia de polvilho azedo - Sal e orégano (pode usar os temperos a gosto) - 7 colheres de sopa de água . . . Modo de preparo . . Em uma xícara coloque todos os ingredientes e misture bem até ficar homogêneo, não pode ficar líquido, caso fique pode deixar descansar por 5 minutos para ficar cremoso, em seguida coloque em uma frigideira de preferência antiaderente e espalhe com uma colher no formato de um círculo e tampe, asse dos dois lados, sempre de olho para não queimar, decore ou recheie como quiser. Aqui eu usei a carne louca de casca de banana para o recheio e fiz o teste com farinhas diferentes, ficou muito bom. . . . Dicas: Pode usar outros tipos de farinhas (fazer um mix ou somente um tipo), use seus temperos a gosto e sempre mude para testar sabores diferentes, pode colocar linhaça, chia, semente de girassol, amendoim, fazer a versão doce é só colocar açúcar e indo provando até ficar no seu gosto, enfim, use a sua criatividade.

🍟McDonalds Inspired Wraps🍟 ~SERVES 2~ - Cut 2 potatoes into skinny fries no need to peel! And place in the microwave for 2 minutes to soften. - Prepare the wrap filling by cutting up some lettuce and cucumber and leave to one side. - Make sure oven is preheated to 220 degrees and place quorn nuggets on a tray and cook for 15 minutes. - Once the nuggets are in and the potatoes are softened, put the ‘skinny fries’ in the actifyer and spray some 1 calorie frylight all over and add a sprinkle of paprika for flavour (optional) - Put the actifryer on 200 degrees for 15-20 mins keep checking every 5 mins and give a shake each time to ensure they’re cooked thoroughly. -For the last 5 mins of the nuggets cooking, grab a frying pan and place on a high heat and flip wraps 10 seconds each side don’t add anything additional to the pan - When the quorn is cooked, cut into halves and prepare wrap filling. - Spread a tsp of Mayo over wrap and add sweet chilli sauce, add lettuce and cucumber. - I use 3 whole nuggets per wrap. Add to filling and wrap together. - Skinny fries should be crispy by this time! Add them on the side to complete this quick and easy meal! Pilaw mit Früchten und Frühlingszwiebeln Zutaten: 250 g Langkornreis, 2 Frühlingszwiebeln, 60 g getrocknete ungeschwefelte Aprikosen, Saft von 2 Orangen 🍊(Eine für die Aprikosen, 1 für den Reis), 2 EL Öl, 3 EL Butter oder Margarine, 5 EL Rosinen, 1/2 TL Kardamompulver, 1 TL Garam Masala, 1 TL Currypulver, 2 TL Salz, 250 ml abgekochtes Wasser, 2 EL Pistazien Zubereitung: Eine Orange 🍊 auspressen. Die Aprikosen 5 Min. reinlegen. Die zweite Orange auspressen und beiseite stellen. Die Frühlingszwiebeln waschen und in Ringe schneiden. Öl und Butter in einem Topf erhitzen. Die Frühlingszwiebeln andünsten und den Reis dazugeben (ca. 5 Min. schmoren). Die Aprikosen klein schneiden und mit den gewaschenen Rosinen zum Reis geben. Die Gewürze und Salz unterrühren. Den Saft einer Orange 🍊 und 250 ml Wasser hinzufügen. Bei mittlerer Hitze 15-20 Min. köcheln lassen.
