It[s that time of the week, again! It's 💵 Financial Tip Tuesday 💵
Sometimes it can be overwhelming to see all of your debts, monthly bills and commitments all compiled together. Like most things, it's important to look at the big picture, but you have to know where to start. The same goes for tackling your financial goals.
Small, bite-sized money goals will ultimately get you where you want to be in the long-run. Whether you are focused on paying down debt, establishing a savings account or saving for a large purchase, unless you hit the lottery or are gifted the funds, you won't achieve those goals overnight.
Examples of bite-sized goals:
✔️ Commit to saving any extra cash you have each week by putting it in an envelope and setting it aside
✔️ Commit to putting $5 or $10 extra dollars toward your debt repayment each month. This will get you closer to paying down your debt and take more off the principal.
✔️ Make yourself a goal to get coffee at home or work instead of the local coffee joint or gas station one day each week.
✔️ Give yourself one month where you utilize cash to do your grocery shopping based on a budget you determine to ensure you don't overspend.
✔️ Cut back on one money-spending habit that you can live without for one month and see how much money you can save.
