Have a walk through my last year... 🗓
Some days ago I felt like looking back on where I started about 1,5 years ago with digital art. Never would I abandon traditional media, but digital art is giving me possibilities of expressing myself how I am not able (yet) to do it with paint or pencils. 🎨
I remembered how much I struggled working on that slippery glass surface in the beginning and trying to figure out how the software works, digging through tutorials, YouTube-videos, progress videos on Instagram, reading tipps and tricks, adapting some routines... and I think until today I learned so much already that I wanted to share my little progress journey with you. 😊
I’ve been frustrated about all this learning now and then, put the tablet away for months sometimes, struggled picking it up again and facing the things I was (and often still am) not capable of doing and creating yet.
But finally I started seeing some progress and it raised my motivation and confidence to keep learning how to become better with digital art 🖼.
And here you come into all this: Thank you so much for your constant support, for your help and cheering words, for sticking around and following this journey with me! 😌 THANK YOU! 🙇♀️
I hope you all will enjoy your weekend and keep making art and beautiful things!
Just know... whenever something seems to be too hard for you, keep going and own it! 😌🎨
Let’s see where we all are in another 1,5 years from now...!
P.S.: Also a big thank you to @clipstudioofficial (they will never read this 😅) and especially their developers! With every update it became better and better and easier to understand and to use. I highly recommend it (I’m not paid for saying this!) and love the helping community standing behind it! 🙏
