Hiked Bryce Canyon all the way to the bottom and back! The hoodoos (irregular columns of rock) were so awesome to photograph and no I didn’t know what a hoodoo was before I went 😂 #BryceCanyon

Turns out that Utah is one of THE MOST EPIC NATURE SPOTS EVER! 🏔🏔🏔 🙏🏼 I’ll be back for more someday. And as dweebish as I feel for buying/carrying a selfie stick, they are actually very helpful & fun. Hope to be making a road trip videos for the YouTube channel once we’re off the road! 🤗 🚙 . . . . . #beanoutsider #brycecanyonnationalpark #brycecanyon #brycecanyonutah #nationalparks #nationalparkphotography #selfiestickfun #natureisrad #utahisrad #mothernature #naturelovers #earthlovers #familyroadtrip #peteandthesunshinechasers #thisisaworkingtitle #exploremore #travel #travelvideography #dowhatyoulovetodo #andhavefunwhiledoingit

. Na szczęście, badacze nie stracili zimnej krwi i udało im się podać zwierzęciu dawkę środka nasennego, dzięki któremu mogli bezpiecznie wykonać niezbędne badania, a potem wspólnymi siłami przetransportować "misia" do nory. . Zobaczcie zdjęcia z tego spotkania. Robią ogromne wrażenie, prawda? 📸: @arni_coraldo / @natgeo#americanblackbear #blackbear #niedwiedźczarny #niedzwiedzczarny #niedzwied #niedzwiedzie #sensimowy #gawra #brycecanyon #brycecanyonnationalpark #brycecanyonutah #utah #natura #wildlife #dzikaprzyroda #natgeo #nationalgeographic #coreyarnold #photography #fotografia #wildlifephotography

Hiking on the Queen's Garden and Navajo Loop trail in Utah this summer. ☺️ I got used to seeing the vibrant orange rock color in Bryce while I was there, but I am amazed at how colorful it is in the pictures I took. 🏜️ I also really like photos made with wide angle lenses; the unique perspectives they give are interesting to look at. 📷 What do you think? 😃 #brycecanyon #bryce #utahtravels

Hi! It's me! Glad to see ya, it's been a while.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Can't say I planned to take a month+ long break from this place, or that there is any reason behind it other than I've been focusing on other things.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ With the end of the year in mind, I've been working on client projects, getting tons of wrap-up content ready on my website, and planning some PRETTY big things for 2020 if I do say so myself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Funnily enough, I only have one short trip set in stone for next year though (plus my annual Toronto visit, of course). I'm feeling the new year will be largely business-oriented for me, and I have some projects up my sleeve that I can't wait to share.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anyway, enough about me. How have you been? Are you feeling a shift in energy now that we're about to head into the last month of the decade? Any trips planned? Spill!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #brycecanyon #sheisnotlost #shewhowanders #femmetravel #iamatraveler #thetravellingnomads #sidewalkerdaily #shetravelz #passportcollective #dametraveler #journeyofgirls #wetravelgirls #speechlessplaces #hiking #hikingadventures #hiking_daily #hiking_my_life #hikingculure #hikingworldwide #brycecanyon #brycecanyonnationalpark #brycecanyonutah

Kansas was COLD today! It made me think of this cool hike we went on in Bryce Canyon last year. With the new year comes resolutions for better health. I keep wondering if I’d be more motivated to exercise if I could hike places like THIS every week. #hiking #brycecanyon #utah #brycecanyonnationalpark #brycecanyonutah #health #cold #winter #resolutions #travel #usa

The Paiute Indians (Legend People), who once inhabited Bryce Canyon for hundreds of years long before Europeans arrived, believed in multiple gods. Coyote was a trickster god who oversaw the canyon and became unpleased with the pillaging of the land. . The Legend People had become greedy and selfish, eating and developing in places that Coyote felt should be left alone. Their behavior was not sustainable so, in order to protect the land and punish the Legend People, Coyote invited them to a feast. . They arrived to the feast in their finest garbs and war paint, prepared to indulge in a celebration of their own egos. Before they could dig in, Coyote cursed them to turn to stone. Desperate to survive, the Legend People ran for their lives. In a chaotic stampede, they tripped and trampled over each other and turned to stone. It was the ultimate punishment for their poor behavior, bad character, and lack of consideration for future generations. . So when you sit down for your Thanksgiving feast next week and a family member asks why protecting land is such a big deal, or wants to talk politics over mashed potatoes, or gets a little too tipsy and forgets about the little ears that are present, you go right ahead and ask, “Have you heard the story of the hoodoos?” . You’re welcome.

The appropriately named Inspiration Point is a seemingly endless vista of the diverse canyon landscape, which is widely considered to be ‘one of the most incredible views in the United States.’ The viewpoint features varying levels of overlooks to observe the diverse congregation of colorful spires, fins, and hoodoos that are pervasive within the Bryce Canyon Amphitheater. As with mostly all of the eastern-facing overlooks, Inspiration Point is best visited during sunrise when the light fills the amphitheater and creates a sweeping glow of crimson, gold, rose, and orange. The steep cliffs offer unobstructed views that extend to the horizon and look out at natural landmarks like Boat Mesa. . . . . #travel_captures #uthadotcom #landscapephoto #northforkvirginriver #explorenature #utahunique #hike_utah #utah #goparks #brycecanyonnp #brycecanyonutah #lifeelevated #bryce #naturalutah #nationalparkgeek #hikeutah #wowutah #nofilternecessary #onlyinutah #nikonnofilter #landscape_photo #chrislabascophotography #werutah #hikingday #naturegrampics #hikingbryce #hikingadventure #inspirationpoint

😖 . . . #grandcanyon #brycecanyon #brycecanyonnationalpark #usa #grandcanyonnationalpark #🇺🇸 #visitusa #grandcanyonflight #flightsovergrandcanyon #canyon #grandcanyontrip #brycecanyonutah

When we set out to hike the hoodoos at Bryce Canyon National Park last week, the children were overwhelmed with excitement. We knew that it would be special, but had no idea how much we were underestimating the beauty of that incredible place. . As the sun set, the sky and formations that surrounded us changed colors. We stopped several times with our mouths agape and eyes up, taking it all in with awe. Each time a group passed us going the opposite way - out - they suggested we follow their lead. Dark was coming, and it wasn’t going to be easy to hike without light, but we couldn’t turn on our heels to follow the crowd. We were mesmerized, committed, and perhaps even addicted. Onward! . When we reached the valley, a gorgeous tree stood alone and my nature feelings bubbled over. I couldn’t believe it; how lucky we are to stand in such sacred places over and over again. It never gets old. . With my eyes dried up and the night turning cold, we decided to make our way back under the light of the moon and with the help of Jason’s headlamp. We had the trail to ourselves and took our time on the switchbacks, hiking in silence as we took in the view of the stars and the way the hoodoos looked all the more giant at night. Occasionally, we would all come to a stop and someone would whisper “How is this even real?” . This whole life. The whole experience. This incredible earth, these stunning views, our bodies that are able to hike wild trails, and the deep gratitude that we have for it all. How is this even real?
