The Hoodoos of Bryce Canyon were unexplorable on this day due to avalanche risk!! 😮🌨 • Explore beyond the ordinary 🗺

Which photo do you like best, 1, 2, or 3? This was a challenging sunset photo! You can’t tell in the photos, but it was really windy while trying to photograph this shot! Trying to keep everything from blowing away, keeping the tripod sturdy, and trying to take photos proved to be difficult! Despite the struggles, it was all worth it for this view and sunset! “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” ‭James 1:12‬

Doors. Life is a series of them with new landscapes, adventures, trials, and triumphs waiting behind each one. Make the best of them all, the good and the bad. Enjoy the wins. Grow from the losses. Life is short and beautifully messy. In a race with time that no one wins, slow it down and savor the moments behind every new door. #brycecanyonnationalpark #brycecanyon #utahphotographer #visitutah #inspirationalquotes #motivationalquotes #landscapephotography #landscape #landscapelovers #landscape_tribe #navajotrailbryce #national_park_photography #nationalparkspartnership #npp #nationalpark #nationalparkgeek #nationalparkservice #usinterior #usparkpass #findyourpark #brycecanyonnps #utahredrocks #nature #naturephotography #naturelovers #nature_perfection #lifelessons #memorialday #hikingadventures #hikingphotography

BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK. August 2018. The high desert might be my favorite summer spot.... dry heat all day long followed by crisp, cool evenings 😍. The three of us spent 3 days exploring Bryce. It’s a super unique landform that cannot go unseen - for starters, Bryce Canyon isn’t actually a Canyon at all! Take a lil trippy there to experience the HooDoos and enjoy the crimson walls of this National Park.

📍𝓑𝓻𝔂𝓬𝓮 𝓒𝓪𝓷𝔂𝓸𝓷 𝓝𝓟 / 𝓤𝓽𝓪𝓱 / 𝓤𝓢𝓐 🇺🇸 . With only half a day to enjoy this area after watching sunrise at Sunrise Point we took this popular Queens Garden/Navajo Loop trail. It’s short and therefore a busy trail but it’s a scenic one walking through the hoodoos. Starting early straight after sunrise means you get to miss a lot of the crowd 😁 . . #brycecanyon #brycecanyonnps #onlyinutah #diversifyoutdoors #optoutside #greatoutdoors #brownpeoplecamping #outdoorwomen #womenwhohike #sheexplores #diversity #tamiladventurers #tamilgirlshike #ospreypacks #tamilblogger #hikelikeagirl #unlikelyhikers #travelwithpurpose #womxninthewild #explorergirls #roamtheplanet #melaninbasecamp

In Southern Utah, there are many wonderful National Parks. If you are ever in the area, check out Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Canyonlands National Parks. My particular favorite is Bryce National Park and the famous “hoodoos.” This deer wanted to get up close. Do you know the plural form of “deer”? I hope you are having a great weekend!

Some of the best places for landscape photography are those not-so-well-known parts of a national park. There's less people there and you have a better chance at getting the shot you want. Your best chance is to be there around sunup when most people are still asleep. Then you're almost guaranteed the shot you want. Depending upon how far you must travel (in car and on foot) you may need to wake up VERY early indeed to get there in time. #worldexplorer #globetrotter #theearthoutdoors #adventureenthusiasts #wanderlust #getoutside #ourwild #seekthetrails #greettheoutdoors #optoutside #amongthewild #wildernessquest #sharetheexperience #findyourpark #usinterior #nationalparkobsessed #usparksandmonuments #national_park_photography #nationalparkweek #nationalparkgeek #npfans #nps #brycecanyonnationalpark #brycecanyon #brycecanyonnps #packtography #socialcurator #utahvacation #desertlife #wildernessnation @brycecanyonnps_gov

(December 2019) We braved the -15 degree temps for Bryce Canyon and it was SO worth it!! In case you’re wondering, here’s what it took to stay warm (mainly writing this out for my own future reference!): Base layers (I just use regular athletic leggings and a moisture wicking long sleeve shirt, a thick pair of winter Lululemon tights over that, thick wool socks, a fleece mid-layer, a jacket, then a shell on top to cut the wind chill, plus an ear warmer, a hat (my trusty army pt fleece cap 😂), scarf, and ski gloves. Layers are everything!! . . . . . #brycecanyon #brycecanyonnationalpark #brycecanyonnps #utah #sunrisepoint #overlook #scenicoverlook #scenic #winterwonderland #hiking #hike #findyourpark #hikingtrails #hoodoos #rockformation #winterhiking #activevacation #canyonhike #utah #southernutah #nationalparksusa #nationalparksroadtrip #usaroadtrip #southwestusa #visitutah #travel #vacation #romanticgetaway #utahgram #roadtrip

I checked two National Parks @brycecanyonnps and @capitolreefnps off the list and finished the Mighty Five the past couple days. While parts of the parks are still closed, there are fewer visitors as well and a great time to visit responsibly. Hand sanitizers, mask, camping and only a couple stops for gas to limit contact. It’s was good for the soul to be outside again. Thanks @sydneesue for making it all go off without a hitch. . . . . #brycecanyon #brycecanyonnps #discoverbryce #capitolreef #capitolreefnationalpark #escalantenationalmonument #grandstaircaseescalante #kodachromebasin #hiking #camping #travels #adventure #mightyfive #mightyfiveutah #moustache #quaranstache #utah #utahisrad

✨Pro tips for Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah✨ Save this for your future USA roadtrip 🚙 • • • 1. GET UP EARLY ☀️ In summer, the canyon gets HOT around 11 am and stays hot until sunset. If you plan to hike, get up at sunrise and into the canyon and out before midday... you'll thank me later. • • • 2. STAY UP LATE ✨ If you're at Bryce Canyon on a clear night, STAY UP FOR THE STARS ✨! Light pollution is at one of its lowest points in the entire United States here, meaning it's dark, people! Stargaze to your heart's content -- you can see millions of stars on a clear night. • • • 3. DRINK TONS OF WATER 💧 Even if you're up early and rest during the hottest part of the day, it's blazing here in summertime. Bring plenty of water and drink it! Now's the perfect time to start drinking all that water you promised yourself you would 😉 • • • 4. GET FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE CAMPING ⛺️ You can make a reservation for Sunset Campground during high season (summer). If those are full, you can actually just show up and find a spot in North Campground on a first-come, first-serve basis. But get there early! On weekends and holidays (and sometimes randomly during the week), they'll be filled by mid-morning. • • • 5. HIKE, HIKE, HIKE 🥾 Check out my previous post for the best hikes in Bryce Canyon, and enjoy the incredible views 😍

After 2 failed hikes in Sedona and not be able to finish the Angel’s Landing trail, we weren’t sure if we’d actually be able to complete a hike. Finally, the stars aligned at @brycecanyonnps_gov. We decided to take the Navajo Loop to Queens Garden Trail and it took forever - not because it was difficult or long - it was just filled with the most insane views and we couldn’t stop taking photos✨

Bryce Canyon NP 2015. Bryce Canyon showcases the stunning geology of southern Utah, a red-rock wonderland created by wind, water, and snow. These very impressive hoodoos are not unique to Utah, but Bryce has the largest concentration of them anywhere in the world. . . . #brycecanyon #brycecanyonnationalpark #brycecanyonnps #landscape #landscapes #landscapephotography #landscapelovers #landscape_captures #landscapephotographer #landscapesofinstagram #scapes_greatshots #awesome_photographers #ig_shotz_planet #scape_captures #scape #naturephotography #ig_shotz_nature #naturephotographer #usatravel #travelusa #travelusa🇺🇸 #travelphotography #travelgram #traveltheworld #Aroundtheworldpix #travellingthroughtheworld #photooftheday #yourshotphotographer #nikonbelgium #elphotographyantwerp

"Persistence is what makes the impossible possible, the possible likely, and the likely definite." 💭💪 . . . As I'm going thru these pictures, I feel like Im there again. I forgot how energy consuming adventures and road trips are. The amount of coordination that goes behind the scenes from making sure you have your life set up to be able to put on pause for a few days and come back and press play and continue from where you last started, all the ass kicking during the adventure long hikes and long nights coming back to clean up, getting dinner ready, hang out and chill, practice night photography to and then sleep 4-5 hours and start the next day just to do all over again for the next 3 days... 😐🤤 and I'd do it all over again and again and again! 🧡 . . . This little creek here is located in Bryce Canyon National Park. Here you can see the hoodoos and spires alot closer without having to take the longer hike down to the amphitheater. The hike is only a mile long round trip to the waterfall, but there is plenty to explore past the falls. I would definitely come back here during the colder weather to see the icicles hanging off the grotto or moss growing after. Not bad #utah 👏

#BryceAtNight 🌌🏜 Last night at midnight we hiked up to Sunset Point to take some photos of the stars! Bryce is one of the best places in the west to stargaze because of how far away it is from the city. It was super eerie to be on the edge of a cliff hearing the wind blow through the canyon, but a really cool experience. @abigailerinphotography #abigailerinphotography

At 8,300 feet above sea level Bryce Point provides an astonishing view of the canyon. I was fortunate enough to experience this sunset, when they sky turned a bright red and the snow covered hoodoos glowed red in the valley below. . . . Swipe ➡️ for the full picture! I love how the hoodoos of Bryce Canyon light up at sunrise! Getting this picture was not the easiest for me. Before setting out on this road trip, I bought an air mattress and tent for my truck bed, and I thought it would be relaxing and peaceful to sleep under the stars, but I didn’t count on my air mattress deflating after two hours, and I didn’t realize how cold it could get at night in July here! Between temperatures in the low 40s (6-7 degrees C) and the hard bed of my truck, I didn’t get any sleep! When my alarm went off, all I wanted to do was sleep! Luckily, I pushed through, and headed to this spot for the sunrise, and it did not disappoint! “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13

Have you ever been to Bryce Canyon? I've been there a bunch lately (past few years). I've had a chance to check out several portions of the park. However, I'd love to know which you prefer. Do you prefer the main amphitheater of the park (number 1 ) ⬆️ , or do you prefer some of the side vistas and nature areas (number 2) ➡️ ? Share your thoughts on the comments section below. There's no wrong answer to this question. 😉 ⠀ ⠀ #findyourpark #usinterior #nationalparkobsessed #usparksandmonuments #national_park_photography #nationalparkweek #nationalparkgeek #npfans #nps #utah #lifeelevated #werutah #naturalutah #utahvacation #utahgram #utahisrad #utahtravels #utahunique #exploreutah #utahadventures #utahisbeautiful #beutahful #wowutah #beautahful #igutah #brycecanyonnationalpark #brycecanyon #brycecanyonnps #packtography #socialcurator @brycecanyonnps_gov
